Endive, broad-leaved. 

Broad-leaf endive full-hearted winter Is little susceptible to rot
and thus very suitable for outdoor cultivation in autumn and early winter cultivation under glass.
■ To prevent bolting, sow June, July and August in the garden in seedbeds and transplant later
OR sow in a greenhouse and, depending on the period, transplant outside or already in a greenhouse.
■ Minimum sowing temperature of 15°C or higher.
■ Keep soil moist during propagation.
■ Plant out in well-fertilised soil.
■ Produces firm but succulent leaves.
