■ A vigorous and tall crop with long pods.
■ Growing on netting, i.e. timely tethering.
■ Can be harvested both young and ripe.
■ The medium-sized seeds possess excellent cooking qualities.
■ Capuchin Blue-shockers can be pre-sown in a greenhouse from mid-January for an early harvest.
■ Harden off pre-sown plants and transplant in late March.
■ Sow in the garden in rows for a later harvest on 40 cm rows with a pea every 10 cm.
■ Cultivation method is as for peas.
