A long and sturdy summer carrot, which is also suitable for slightly heavier soils. Keeps well and reasonably long. Produces shiny orange roots of approx. 22 cm with a pleasant sweet taste. Sow thinly in rows and do not thin out after emergence. Ensure deeply worked soil so that the roots can grow undisturbed. Fertilise normally and absolutely do not use fresh farmyard manure. Cover if necessary to prevent root fly damage. Planting onions or leeks between the lines also helps.
