Description
Nicotiana alata
A beautiful tall ornamental tobacco, which flowers until frost sets in. To get as much pleasure from the lovely fragrances, which the flowers spread, plant out near a sheltered seating area. Blooms all day. Sow Nicotiana in warm conditions, cover seeds very thinly, prick out, harden off and transplant after the danger of late frost has truly passed. Do well in flower beds and large window boxes. Attracts butterflies.
