Mixed Lettuce

■ Lettuce Mixture Gastronome is a nicely balanced mixture of green and red (baby) lettuce types, supplemented with chervil, corn salad, red-leaved lettuce and endive.
■ In an unheated hobby greenhouse, it is sometimes possible to sow in rows as early as mid-February.
■ Row spacing is about 15 cm and sow fairly thickly.
■ Careful with watering though, the delicate densely packed leaves are extra susceptible to blemishes.
■ Later sow outdoors in the same way in the open ground.
■ Harvest when the leaves are 10-15 cm long.
■ Can therefore also be sown excellently in pots.
■ Especially suitable for spring and autumn cultivation.
